why i want you to vote for sarath!!

let us have a look at the problems faced by a layman in this city and the action taken by the political parties so far to solve those problems..i feel poverty and education are the ones where we have to concentrate a lot...more than 30%of chennai's population lives in a place where the total no of rats outnumber them..they use the polluted water from the buckingham canal(coovam)for thier needs...they dont have a proper drainage system and hence their sorrundings thrive as a breeding ground for number of diseases...and what standard of healthcare do you think  they get??
the government claims the general hospitals treats every citizen free of cost....do you beleive it..
only if you bribe the people working there, you can atleast get a considerable amount of treatment...the healthcare is so filled with people who ask for bribes for doing their duty...the condition is so pathetic that even the dead people are not exempted...you have to bribe the people in the mortuary to get  the bodies out.....
what to think about the level of education these poor students can get in their corporation schools?
many students drop out before the 8 th grade and only a meagre amount of students make it to the colleges....
what have the politicians done to increase  the standard of living of the poor folks?
do you think providing them with a television set will do any good?
what they want is food ,better place to live,a better health care facility and most importantly
a better education for their kids...
all the so called big parties manifestos were filled with"stopping the war in srilanka"
the war they can never stop or they never try to do so...
how do you expect them to serve tamil people in srilanka, when they cant do so in india!!
what we need is a change!!
a change that can transform the lives of the poor people!!
give sarath a chance !!
you will never regret your decision!
common chennai!!
wake up and act wise......

check this out!!

following are the links where you can know more about sarath babu...

My Personal Encounter with sarath

It was during december last week of 2007 i had a chance to meet him..seven students from my college went to SRM university to attend a three day conference about GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP..we sat there for an afternoon session just afterhaving a good lunch...we were all interested in leaving home soon...all of a sudden they were starting the session..we felt trapped and was figuring out a way to leave...and soon sharath came to the stage to deliver a speech about his life and food king..that was the first time i saw him..he was so down to the earth..so humble...when he finished his speech everyone in the crowd had a look in their face asking more from him...and to be frank we sat there the whole evening...just after the session was over we went over to him and bombarded him with questions..he just kept a cool head answering every question  we asked...from that day i started following his progress....when i first heard he was contesting the lok sabha elections i desperately wanted to be with him throughout the campaigning process...as i got my examinations coming up i decided to help him by starting this blog.......
i strongly beleive residents of south chennai are going to start a revolution...the one thats gonna be bigger than the freedom movement and the one thats going to transform INDIA!!!!

sarath babu

i don think sarath babu is the one who needs a brief introduction...let me just take you through this wonderful reverie called sharth's life...i think it would be better if u hear it from none other than sarath himself....

Family

I was born and brought up in a slum in Madipakkam in Chennai. I have two elder sisters and two younger brothers and my mother was the sole breadwinner of the family.
It was really tough for my mother to bring up five kids on her meager salary. She sold Idlis in the mornings, worked for the mid-day meal at the school during daytime and taught at the adult education programme of the Indian government, thus doing three different jobs to bring us up and educate us.

My mother, according to me, is the most successful entrepreneur.

Education

I did schooling in Kings Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai, graduated in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and after working for 3 years in Polaris Softwares completed MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

its me now....

i would like to ask you guys a few question...

what do you think a student of such prestigious institution would do after he passes out???

what would you when some one offers you a job that would make you a millionaire within forty winks??

a normal person like you and me would just grab the opportunity with both the hands....

but sarath just declined the offer and did something that a average human being does not even dream of...

lets here it from him...
